School Visits
Teachers and students, bring Helping Hands Rescue to your classroom. We believe proper treatment of animals starts at a young age. We have been visiting local schools in our area for years. We hope to educate the children about proper treatment of animals, compassion, basic animal needs, and more. We have an open question and answer session which is always a delight to listen to the children talk about their pets. We also bring socially adapted animals with us, usually a dog and kittens so the kids can pet them.
If you would like Helping Hands Rescue to visit your classroom, please contact us. Classroom visits will depend on Covid restrictions at that time.
Children's House Montessori School
We were invited to visit with the kids at Children's House Montessori School. Our volunteers took several kitties and Prim in her little dress to visit. She was a hit! The kids enjoyed seeing and petting them and learning about the care of dogs and kitties. It's always a fun time to take our animals to the schools and educate the kids on their care and handling. Thank you for inviting us. We always enjoy ourselves!
ALL SAINTS CATHOLIC SCHOOL

One of our favorite events is our annual visit to All Saints Catholic School to visit with the kindergartners and first graders. Every year they do a donation drive for us and invite us to talk with the kids. This year we took 2 dogs and 2 cats with us. The kids loved it! We always have a lot of fun!
